First Aid Courses for outdoor enthusiasts, instructors and teachers alike...

Dallam have been running our highly successful First Aid courses for many years and have a good reputation as a provider of courses that are well-delivered, relevant and informative. The courses are governed by the organisation ‘Rescue Emergency Care’ (REC): a rapidly growing organisation, which many outdoor providers now turn to because the ethos can be so easily tailored to applications in the outdoors. It is just as relevant to other walks of life, such as school trips and sports fixtures, and the practical elements will be adapted to the contextual background of the group members. The qualification is recognised by all outdoor activity National Governing Bodies, schools, clubs and in the workplace.

    1. REC First Aid for Emergencies - Level One
    2. Ages 16+
    3. Course price: £60
    4. This is the basic Level 1 qualification which takes place over a single day. It is an introduction to the principles of Emergency First Aid and is suitable for budding outdoor activity instructors, group leaders or students. Assessment will be continuous and informal rather than formal. The time commitment is for 8 hours, commencing at 9.00am and finishing at 6.00pm.

    3. Course price: £120
    4. This is the Level 2 qualification which takes place over two days and is sufficient to validate outdoor activity instructor qualifications. Assessment will be continuous and informal rather than formal. The time commitment is for 16 hours, commencing at 9.00am and finishing at 6.00pm on both days.

      The January and March courses are all full.
